The illegitimate cousin of lip-synching, air guitar has evolved from something you only do in the privacy of your own room to an art form in its own right. In recent years, Air Guitar Championships have sprung up across the world, searching for the greatest talent in a genre that requires little training or technique. The goal here is enthusiasm and a certain disregard for one’s dignity. Gold pants help too.
